Bathrooms are no longer the “last room” considered in the modern home,no longer are they left to occupy the smallest space possible and viewed as a purely “functional” room for the very briefest of visits, they are often cold and damp, very much not a room to linger in!
Now with the ever increasing range of home grown and affordable imports the bathroom is now a room to be reckoned with, a room on its own account where design, colour, warmth and comfort meet (and rank) as highly as any other room in the house, with En-suite rooms following close with home owners and home buyers.
A well thought out and well designed bathroom is a valuable asset to any home, adding to the sale value and desirability to prospective purchasers when selling, and of course a better enviroment for any home owner whether they are thinking of staying or selling.
More and more people are looking for en-suite facilities, that can simply be a w.c and a hand basin in a guest room, similar to the Ideal Standard "Tonic" as shown, this small suite would also be a very good choice where a very small area is available for a ground floor cloak room.

Now every bedroom can benefit from its very own en-suite bath/shower room, designed and made for the smallest of rooms. This 150cm bath has an integral shower area giving the best of both worlds, a qiuck invigorating shower or a lounge in a relaxing hot bath, depending on your mood or time. the area is taken from a corner of a bedroom and utilises a 45cm wide pedestal basin and a well designed compact wc suite. By keeping the colours light and with the minimum of tiles it doesn’t seem as small as the 1.5x1.5m space that it occupies.
