Don't feel intimidated by the prices in some of the brochures if you are on a budget, just use them for ideas! the next thing may sound obvious, but acuratly measure your bathroom ( use a piece of graph paper if you have some) and draw it out at about 1-20 scale and then find a piece of card, and old greeting card will do, and then cut out shapes of various items that you like, again to scale, and just play with them, you'll be surprised at what you can actually do in even the smallest of bathrooms.
